I didn't see him as the old guy with bald head and gray beard, though. I saw a powerful man who was very clear what he needed to do to create a positive and powerful life for himself. If he continues with his studies and with his clear intention for good, I am convinced he will be released from any internal prison which may have landed him as property of the state of California in the first place. I suggest he read and re-read the GOGI book PRISON: GETTING OUT BY GOING IN. Once he feels as if the tools are second nature he can begin to teach the tools to others. We humans know we know when we teach others what we know..... In supporting Darrel you are supporting all those with whom he comes in daily contact. Congratulations. He is an inmate at CMC in San Luis Obispo, CA. To say he was blown away by your presentation would be an understatement. He told me that your presentation to them was very interesting and held his attention. He ask me to tell you that he was the "ole guy, with the bald head and gray beard, and said to you that he was one of the relapses you spoke of ". I personally as Darrel's friend thank you for your effort to help these guys. They are not a lost cause. God Bless You!! I have known Darrel since July 4, 1984. I send him care packages every quarter, I send him a little money and stamps. I try to bless him and pray he will be released one day. I know that is his dream too.
