Getting Out By Going In (GOGI) Coach Alejandro (Alex) Martinez leads 6-week workshops in Spanish.
One year ago, GOGI implemented the 6-week workshop for positive decision-making for inmates whose primary language was Spanish. These workshops provide native Spanish-speakers with the tools that Getting Out By Going In offers to those who want to know how to make positive changes in their thinking.
More than seven hundred male inmates at Federal Correctional Institution, Terminal Island, have graduated from the GOGI course.
One inmate said, “Upon release, I would like to help others with their goals. The more informed inmates are, the better they will be.”
